PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a plastic widely used in water, soft drink, oil and food packaging that can be recycled many times. At our facility, collected PET bottles and containers are sorted by colour (clear, blue, green, mixed), cleaned of foreign materials such as labels and caps, then pressed and shipped to the recycling industry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to remove the caps and labels from bottles?
It is not required; this is done at our sorting facility. However, bottles that are empty and as clean as possible improve recycling quality.
What does PET waste become?
Recovered PET is used as raw material for fibre, textile products, strapping and, under suitable conditions, new packaging.
