This stream covers printed products made mostly of uncoated paper: textbooks, novels, magazines, brochures and office paper. When sorted correctly, it is one of the most valuable secondary raw materials for the paper industry. Çankaya Katı Atık collects book and paper waste on site from publishers, printing houses, schools, libraries and institutions, then sorts and bales it at our licensed facility before delivering it to paper mills.
What do we accept?
- Unsold, returned or outdated books
- Magazines, newspapers, catalogues and brochures
- Photocopy, form and office paper (not of archival nature)
- Printing offcuts and print waste
How does the process work?
- Request and planning: A collection day is planned according to the volume of waste and the location.
- On-site collection: Waste is picked up from your address by our vehicle fleet.
- Sorting: Foreign materials such as covers, binding wire and plastic coatings are separated.
- Baling and dispatch: Pressed and baled paper is sent to paper mills for recycling.
Why does it matter?
Every tonne of paper recovered reduces the consumption of trees, water and energy and cuts the volume of waste going to landfill. For your business, it also makes it easier to document your obligations under the Zero Waste Regulation.
