Clear Film Waste

We sort stretch film, pallet wrap and clear packaging film and turn it back into raw material at plastic recycling facilities.

Clear film waste consists mostly of LDPE-based flexible packaging such as pallet (stretch) wrap and box or product bags. It is generated in large quantities, especially at logistics, warehouse and production sites. Clean, colourless film can be turned back into granules with high efficiency in plastic recycling.

Film waste we accept

  • Clear stretch film and pallet wrap
  • Clear product and box packaging film
  • Clean clear bags and sacks
  • Coloured film (in a separate stream)

Tips to improve quality

  1. Collect film separately from paper, tape and labels as far as possible.
  2. Keep clear and coloured film in separate sacks or cages.
  3. Keep film contaminated with oil, chemicals or food residue apart.

Collected clear film is graded and baled at our facility and passed to the plastic recycling line, where it is shredded, washed and granulated to become plastic raw material again.
